We’re thrilled to announce that our very own Mariachi ensemble, Virtuosos, will be performing at this year’sEl Puente Festival at the Tempe Center for the Arts! (Click here for general festival information.)
“El Puente,” meaning “the bridge” in Spanish, is more than just a name—it’s the heartbeat of this community celebration. Each year, the event unites generations through music, dance, and traditional art forms. From ballet folklórico to high school mariachis, families will enjoy a full afternoon of cultural performances, interactive art stations, books, crafts, food trucks, and more. It’s a FREE, family-friendly event that brings Arizona’s diverse cultural voices together in one joyful space.
This year, Desert Sounds is proud to take part as our Virtuosos perform with pride, passion, and purpose—demonstrating not only their musical skill, but the deep sense of belonging that mariachi education provides.
